This wedding was designed with that kind of intention. From the styling to the pacing of the day, every element was thoughtfully considered, including the presence of a red-tailed hawk. It wasn’t a coincidence or a surprise, it was part of the experience. A moment meant to reflect strength, symbolism, and drama within a setting that could carry it naturally.
The castle itself was built with remarkable intention. Completed over three years at a cost of $50,000, the home was designed to feel authentically European. Mr. Parker based the architecture on sketches he created while studying country manors abroad, carefully translating those influences into every detail. The exterior walls were constructed using irregularly sized blocks of gray and gold Butler stone, while the roof was formed from thick stone flagstones, some weighing up to 210 pounds each. The result is a massive, hand-laid stone roof that remains one of a kind in the United States. Inside, the same level of care is evident. The large wooden beams throughout the home were individually hand-hewn and then left to weather outdoors for two years, giving the interior the depth and character of centuries-old craftsmanship.
