This summer, the future of aviation looked bright and I was glad to be there to capture it on camera. Thanks BWI Business Partnership!
As part of Baltimore Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport’s Summer Youth Initiative, students from the region were given a rare, behind-the-scenes look at the aviation industry. From exploring the cutting-edge world of drones and robotics to stepping into the shoes of airport security professionals, the program gave participants a comprehensive and eye-opening experience.

Our cameras caught the energy, curiosity, and excitement of the students as they engaged with aviation professionals and high-tech tools. The images showcase everything from hands-on security demonstrations—featuring the Maryland Transportation Authority Police, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, TSA, and the FBI—to immersive classroom sessions at CCBC in Catonsville, where students experienced flight simulators and learned about automotive and logistics programs.
As you can see, this youth initiative is more than a program, it’s a launchpad.
