Celebrating the 40th Annual National Travel & Tourism Week with Maryland Tourism Coalition (MTC) and travel/tourism industry leaders was a blast at their Regional Industry Meetup Event on May 11th, which was held at the 1817 Restaurant at the Guinness Open Gate Brewery in Baltimore. I was the official photographer for this event, and I’m sharing some images to give you the inside peek at the energy and excitement!
Regional Industry Meetup Event, Guinness Open Gate Brewery
This year, Maryland Travel & Tourism Week’s theme is #TravelForward and locally, the Maryland Tourism Coalition (MTC) joined forces with partners from around the state to celebrate this special week with promotions, activities and events. Among them was this great reception and celebration of the area tourism and travel industries.
“Combining industrial scale with Irish pub-like warmth, our 1817 restaurant is well-suited for dining, receptions and celebrations.” Guiness Open Gate Brewery’s 1817 Restaurant is located at 5001 Washington Boulevard Halethorpe, MD 21227 Take a closer look at their beautiful location here.

There’s never a better time to hire a professional photographer than when your organization is hosting an event to support your mission. Showing off your talent, your teams, your community, and your involvement is worth it, especially now that high-quality, high-resolution professional images can easily set you apart across social media, print marketing, print media, and so much more. From a photojournalistic viewpoint, capturing these occasions can help spread the news about what you’re up to and serve many needs when it comes to getting your name and news in publications.
